In this modern world, almost everyone loves energy drinks, and we consume them to boost our energy. But many people want to know or should know: "Are energy drinks harmful". Because the negative aspects of energy drinks cannot be ignored.

Basically, the main ingredients of these drinks and consuming excess energy drinks cause health harm. However, know the harmful side of caffeine and sugar used in it. Drinking too much energy drinks increases blood pressure and heart rate. It can be dangerous for people with heart disease. On the other hand, excess caffeine can cause sweating, anxiety and sleep problems.


This drink is high in sugar, which increases your risk of weight gain and diabetes. On the other hand, sugar can cause mouth and teeth problems.  So, the ingredients in energy drinks are the main cause of concern. Energy drinks are bad for us mainly for the reasons mentioned above. But you can drink it in a limited amount.

Yes, studies have shown that energy drinks can raise blood pressure.

Energy drinks contain high amounts of sugar, ranging from 21 - 34 grams per ounce.


Are energy drinks bad for the liver?


More detailed research is needed to prove this. However, there is evidence in some cases that people's addiction to these drinks is causing liver damage. Which is very worrying. Commercially available energy drinks contain about 40 mg of niacin per bottle. If you take too much niacin, you are damaging your liver. So, the initial hypothesis is that it damages the liver.


What to drink for energy


Avoid sugary water if you need a morning or afternoon pick-me-up. You can choose from water, tea and coffee, coconut water, and mixed fruit juices.
